Me in 25 seconds

American-born developer, tech founder, full-time nomad.

I’ve been living location independent since ’08, often residing in Bangkok, and I’ve spent time in more than 40 countries. Right now I’m heading up DropInBlog as CEO and co-founder. My (ad)ventures have led to features in CNBC, Forbes, and more.

The DropInBlog story

Say you want to add a blog to your website, but it wasn’t built in WordPress. That’s what DropInBlog is for. If you built your site on a platform like Shopify, Teachable, BigCommerce, Carrd, or Thinkific and you’re serious about content marketing, DropInBlog is the full-featured content solution you’re looking for.

I’m guiding the ship as CEO alongside my two great co-founders, whom I’ve been working with for over a decade. We started coding it as a side project in 2013, launched in 2015, and got serious when it found traction in 2019. The first four years were a grind; the next three took us near seven figures. I love what I do, and I’m truly enjoying the ride on a project I can’t see the ceiling on.

On the personal side

My wife, Janine Schoberg, is a global event producer for remote-team retreats and tech conferences, and a serious travel nut. You can find my photography under the name Jesse Justin, my day-to-day on Instagram, and my thoughts on 𝕏.

What I care about

  • Bootstrapped, sustainable businesses over growth-at-all-costs.
  • Small teams that ship: remote-first, async, and calm.
  • Content and SEO that actually compounds over time.
  • A life designed around freedom, travel, and good coffee.
